Your ImpactAs our Network Engineer, you'll realize visible renewal and improvement at organizations by translating plans and designs into concrete solutions. You will apply the latest techniques by following the latest developments in the market. You will develop into a real 'teamshaped' Network Engineer in both technical and personal skills from the Ordina Academy.

Ordina is increasingly working with High Performance Teams. Collaborating in a multidisciplinary team at the customer location and therefore achieving results together. Based on your experience and your ambitions, you'll become part off a team and can add value to customers such as the Police, Rijkswaterstaat, VGZ and Nike.

As a Network Engineer you will ensure a seamless transition from application development environments to our customers' infrastructure environments. You and your team do this by mapping network infrastructures, automating network infrastructures, resolving incidents and interacting with customer and various stakeholders. With your team you ensure that the business continuity of our customers is guaranteed, by monitoring and continuously improving the availability of applications. You will work with customers who already work entirely in the cloud and you will work in environments that are still classically set up and where our customer wants to make the move towards the cloud.

Where you're going to get startedAt Ordina’s Platform Engineering and Operations area, we help our clients' IT department accelerate their digital transformation by designing, delivering and managing future-proof, agile and cost-efficient Cloud platforms. IT has become a core business for clients, a driver of innovation and differentiation. This puts enormous pressure on IT's delivery process. The Platform Engineering and Operations area professionalizes this delivery process for our customers.

We take care of migrations from on-site to these platforms. In doing so, we take future flexibility and scalability into account. We also advise our customers on the actual usage and help with cost-efficient deployment of resources. We also manage the platforms after design and build.

The Area Consists Of The Following Four Practices

• Cloud Managed Services.
• Microsoft SQL DBA Eng and Ops.
• Engineering and Operations.
• CI/CD automation and Pipelines.

Over 70 professionals work in this professional practice which is a logical fit for them. There is a great deal of collaboration in the development of new propositions. A dynamic team where sharing knowledge and insights is a great thing.

This is youFirst of all, you are not afraid of technology: you see writing, testing and executing a script to kick off infrastructure elements as a logical part of your job. You feel at home with the tools available for automating IT work and realizing CI/CD environments and you are willing to develop further on relevant techniques and/or products. You are a pivot in the web between different specializations such as development, testing, security, integration and infrastructure. Looking, listening, connecting and transferring knowledge give you pleasure. You are strong in communication. And collaboration makes your heart beat faster.

• A (technical) HBO or WO diploma.
• Knowledge and experience of VPN and proxy tech including Cisco.
• You are preferably CCNA, CCNP and/or CCSP certified.
• Experience with Azure virtual networks and cloud environments.
• Ability to fathom complex issues.
• Intrinsic motivation to continuously develop on Microsoft, Cloud, VMware, RedHat and open source technologies.
